A 28-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after an incident Thursday afternoon.

At approximately 1:45pm on June 5, 2025, officers were called to a residence in the Westcott Street and Aylmer Street area about a man going through cars.

Bank Investigator Scam

Officers with the Peterborough Police Service Fraud Unit are warning residents after reports of a bank investigator scam and attempted fraud.

The incident happened at the end of April.

Stabbing Incident Update

A 33-year-old Peterborough man is facing several charges in connection with a stabbing Monday evening.

As a result of the investigation, 33-year-old Ethan Moxham of Peterborough was arrested and charged with:

• Aggravated Assault
• Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
• Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused is currently bound by a probation order stemming from a break and enter and fail to comply with.

Stabbing Incident

Please be aware there will be increased police presence in the area of the train tracks between George Street and Aylmer Street as officers investigate a stabbing incident that happened at approximately 7:00pm on June 2, 2025. One person was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Voyeurism Arrest

A 20-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after an incident Friday afternoon.

At approximately 1:00pm on May 16, 2025, officers were called to an outer store at Lansdowne Place Mall.
