    Lock 20 Incident

    At approximately 12:30pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, police officers along with members of Peterborough Fire and Peterborough Paramedics responded to a call about a child in the water at the canal near Maria Street and Ashburnham Drive.  Two officers jumped in, located the child, and got them out of the water.

    B&E Arrest

    A 28-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges in connection with two recent incidents.

    At approximately 12:30am on October 28, 2025, officers were called to the area of Simcoe Street and Aylmer Street about an unwanted person.

    Assault Incident

    A man is at Peterborough Regional Health Centre with non-life-threatening injuries after an incident early Saturday morning.

    At approximately 5:20am on October 25, 2025, officers were called to a hotel in the Fisher Drive and The Parkway area about a disturbance in a room.

    Warrant/Drug Arrest

    A 43-year-old Peterborough man wanted on warrants is now facing more charges.

    At approximately 12:40pm on October 23, 2025, officers on bike patrol in the Bethune Street and Brock Street area spotted the man and took him into custody on the strength of the warrants.

    Scam Awareness – World Series Tickets

    With the excitement of the Toronto Blue Jays being in the World Series starting Friday, October 24, 2025, the Peterborough Police Service would like to remind residents to be cautious if purchasing tickets through a secondary source. 

    • Be aware that there may be people trying to scam other with deals on tickets that may not exist or be fraudulent.

    A 37-year-old Stoney Creek man is facing charges after an incident Sunday morning.

    At approximately 10:45am on Sunday, October 19, 2025, officers received a call about a vehicle that had hopped a curb into a parking lot at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

    A 31-year-old Peterborough man is facing several charges after a collision Thursday afternoon.

    At approximately 4:10pm on October 16, 2025, officers were called to the intersection of Sherbrooke Street and Clonsilla Avenue about a collision.

    Prohibited Driver Arrest

    A 22-year-old Peterborough man is facing a charge after an incident Wednesday afternoon.

    At approximately 1:30pm on October 15, 2025, an officer on general patrol in the Sherbrooke Street and George Street area was alerted by Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) that the driver of the vehicle in front of them was a suspended driver.
