The Peterborough Police Traffic Management Unit was made aware of the cellphone video where the owner of the motor recorded himself traveling 2.

Break and Enter Arrest – Edmison Heights Public School

A 19-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges in connection with a break and enter at a Peterborough school.

At approximately 2:00am on Monday, September 8, 2025, officers were called to the school in The Marina Boulevard and Royal Drive area about a break and enter in progress.

Two Peterborough women are facing charges after an intimate partner violence incident Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 5:00pm on September 7, 2025, officers were called to the fire station on Sherbrooke Street about a woman with an injury to her hand.

Drug Arrest

A 33-year-old Peterborough man is facing multiple drug charges after an investigation as part of the Safer Public Spaces initiative.

At approximately 1:50pm on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, officers on general patrol in the Reid Street and Simcoe Street area spotted a man using drugs, approached him and took him into custody.

School Zone Traffic Enforcement

Officers with the Peterborough Police Service and the Peterborough Police Service Traffic Unit continue to conduct traffic enforcement in school zones as students return from summer break.

On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, officers issued 17 tickets across Peterborough, Lakefield and Cavan-Monaghan during the morning and after school rush.

Aggravated Sexual Assault with a Weapon Arrest

The Peterborough Police Service has made an arrest in relation to a sexual assault investigation.

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025 officers from the Peterborough Police Service arrested and charged 39 year old Jomo Frederick with:
