    A 14-year-old Peterborough male is facing a charge of criminal harassment after an incident.

    On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, officers responded to a call for service about a neighbour dispute.

    Drug Warrant Arrests

    On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, members of the Peterborough Police Service Drug and Intelligence Unit with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed two (2) search warrants in the City of Peterborough in the areas of King Street and Bethune Street and Stewart Street and King Street.

    A substantial amount of stolen property was located during the investigation.

    Suspicious Death Investigation – Update

    Detectives with the Investigative Services Unit have laid a charge in connection with a suspicious death investigation.

    A 40-year-old Peterborough man has now been charged with:

    • Indignity to dead body

    The accused is being held in custody and will appear in court today, August 13, 2025.

    Suspicious Death Investigation

    Officers with the Peterborough Police Service are assisting the Coroner’s Office with a suspicious death investigation at a Peterborough residence. 

    There is expected to be ongoing police presence in the area of Charlotte Street and Rubidge Street.

    Possession of Weapons Arrest

    Three Peterborough teens are facing charges after an incident Saturday night.

    At approximately 9:45pm on August 9, 2025, officers were on general patrol in the George Street and Dalhousie Street area when a large group of youths started running toward them yelling that someone had a gun.

    Utter Threats Arrest

    The Peterborough Police Service has made an arrest in connection with an incident that was reported to the police and occurred in the Lansdowne Place Mall parking lot recently. 

    On Friday, August 8, 2025, officers began an investigation into the incident, which happened on July 29, 2025.

    Motor Vehicle Collision – Lansdowne Street West/Webber Avenue

    Officers with the Peterborough Police Service Traffic Management Unit continue to investigate after a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV.

    The collision happened at approximately 5:00pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Lansdowne Street West and Webber Avenue.
