    The Peterborough Police Service has concluded an investigation at the Lansdowne Place Mall.

    At approximately 2:10pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, a bomb threat call was received.

    Impaired Arrest

    A 41-year-old Omemee man is facing charges after an incident Tuesday afternoon.

    At approximately 2:10pm on February 18, 2025, officers were called about collision at Lansdowne Street and The Parkway in which one vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle.

    Suspect Sought in 2024 Arson Incident

    Officers with the Peterborough Police Service continue to search for a 23-year-old man wanted in connection with a fire at a Peterborough business in March 2024. 

    Dominik Puska is believed to be in the Greater Toronto Area and is wanted on a charge of arson, disregard for human life.

    Theft Arrests

    Two Peterborough women are facing multiple charges each in connection with a series of shoplifting incidents at a Peterborough business. 

    The incidents were reported online to the Peterborough Police Service and happened between November and early December at the business.

    Grandparent Scam Re-Emerging in Peterborough

    The Peterborough Police Service has received three reports of grandparent scam in the past 24 hours in Peterborough. 

    In each case, the victims in their 70’s and 80’s were told their grandchild was in trouble and needed money for bail.

    Stolen Vehicle Arrest

    A 20-year-old Peterborough man was arrested in Niagara Falls Tuesday afternoon.

    At approximately 7:30pm on Monday, February 10, 2025, officers were notified that a car had been stolen along with three handguns from a Peterborough residence.

    Theft Suspects Sought

    Officers with the Peterborough Police Service are investigating after a resident reported a pickpocketing incident Monday.

    At approximately 1:00pm on February 10, 2025, a 75-year-old resident reported that he had been running errands when he was approached by a man and a woman in the north parking lot at Lansdowne Place Mall near Lansdowne Street and Monaghan Road.

    Mischief Arrest

    A 30-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after a disturbance at a Peterborough business Friday.

    At approximately 1:30pm on February 7, 2025, officers were called the business in the Bethune Street and Charlotte Street area about a man causing a disturbance, pulling the fire alarm and pulling a thermostat from the wall.

    Possession of Stolen Property Arrest

    A 36-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after two theft reports.

    At approximately 12:00pm on February 6, 2025, officers with the Community FIRST Unit located a suspect matching the description of the male in the theft reports in the area of Aylmer Street and Simcoe Street.

    Windsor murder suspect arrested in Peterborough

    The Windsor Police Service, in collaboration with the Peterborough Police Service, has arrested a 19-year-old suspect for first-degree murder and a 16-year-old youth for accessory to murder.

    On January 27, 2025, police responded to the 400 block of Wyandotte Street East in Windsor after receiving a report of an unresponsive man outdoors.
