Stabbing Incident Update

A 33-year-old Peterborough man is facing several charges in connection with a stabbing Monday evening.

As a result of the investigation, 33-year-old Ethan Moxham of Peterborough was arrested and charged with:

• Aggravated Assault
• Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
• Fail to Comply with Probation Order

The accused is currently bound by a probation order stemming from a break and enter and fail to comply with.

Stabbing Incident

Please be aware there will be increased police presence in the area of the train tracks between George Street and Aylmer Street as officers investigate a stabbing incident that happened at approximately 7:00pm on June 2, 2025. One person was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

At approximately 9:50pm on May 30, 2025, officers were called to a residence in the Cunningham Boulevard and Armour Road area.

At approximately 7:00pm on May 27, 2025, officers were called to the Home Depot about a theft in progress.

Officers with the Investigative Services Unit of the Peterborough Police Service are searching for suspects after an incident last Saturday morning. 

On the afternoon of May 17, 2025, officers were notified about a man taken to hospital after he had been assaulted with a hammer.

A 20-year-old Peterborough man is facing charges after an incident Friday afternoon.

At approximately 1:00pm on May 16, 2025, officers were called to an outer store at Lansdowne Place Mall.
