The Peterborough Police Service Board is pleased to present the 2024-2027 Strategic Plan. This plan looks to the future to create the conditions for policing success in our communities and will serve as the Organization's roadmap for the next four years.

Find out about how input was gathered
Gathering meaningful input from the local community on what they believe the priorities should be for the Peterborough Police Service in the coming years is an important part of the strategic planning process. The Board, through the StrategyCorp team, gathered feedback from a wide variety of stakeholders including the public, community organizations, Municipal and Indigenous Councils, School Boards and PPS internal members through various means:
- Pop-up events in the communities of Peterborough, Lakefield and Cavan-Monaghan at locations including the Farmers Market at Quaker Food's City Square, the Lakefield Foodland, and Cavan Monaghan Foodland
- An online community survey
- Invitations to a wide variety of community organizations, Municipal Councils and Indigenous leaders to attend both virtual and in-person sessions
- An internal staff survey
