RIDE Check Stop
Officers with the Peterborough Police Service conducted a RIDE check stop Monday evening.
Officers were in the Township of Cavan Monaghan in the area of Highway 7a and Highway 115.
In total:
- 57 vehicles were stopped
- 2 Roadside Sobriety tests were administered and both passed
RIDE stands for Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere and RIDE check stops are conducted throughout the year by the Peterborough Police Service.
In 2024, 17 RIDE details were completed and 130 impaired charges laid.
