Pedestrians Struck – Minor Injuries

Two young girls (11 and 12-years-old) were struck by a vehicle early Sunday evening. Both were taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre with minor injuries.

The incident happened at the intersection of Parkhill Road and Monaghan Road at approximately 6:05pm on September 27, 2026.

A 68-year-old driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Failing to Yield to Pedestrian. 

Motor Vehicle Collision – Rogers Street

An 82-year-old Peterborough woman was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with careless driving after an incident Saturday. 

The incident happened at approximately 2:30pm on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in the Rogers Street and Clifton Street area when a vehicle struck a porch.  

No one was injured in the incident.
