Drug Investigation

Four people were taken into custody Thursday morning as part of a drug investigation by the Peterborough Police Service Drug Unit.

At approximately 11:40am on October 15, 2026, the Drug Unit with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team executed a drug warrant at a residence on Park Street South.

Officers seized:

• 133 grams of Cocaine
• 131 grams of Fentanyl
• 45 pills – Dilaudid
• Over $20,000 in Canadian currency
• Replica firearm
• Drug paraphernalia

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is over $20,000. 

As a result:

• One person is facing drug trafficking charges in connection with the drug investigation
• One person wanted on 12 outstanding warrants was taken into custody
• One person wanted on 8 outstanding warrants is in custody
• One person was arrested on an endorsed warrant

Three are being held in custody and will appear in court tomorrow, October 16, 2026.
